Delicious authentic tacos with wood-fired meats. I really liked the cilantro lime rice too. They have a variety of hot sauces included, which is always nice. It's on the pricey side, but I'm glad I went. Three tacos, cilantro lime rice and a small frozen margarita was about $42 with tip. They also have half a Pollo Al Carbón with tortillas for like $18. I'll try that next time.
Grapefruit (Rio) Margarita on rocks Casa Frozen Margarita With Queso & Chips, Steak al Carbon, and Chicken Quesadilla. Colorful scheme, vibrant staff, quick service, great food! I highly recommend the Chicken Quesadilla!!
I’m sorry, what? How was that so good? I was expecting good but… that was beyond. I got the chicken floutas, super greens side, and the chips and their salsas were sooooo good. I dipped my floutas in the jalapeño sauce. Sheeeeesh
OMG. Best fusion of Texas smoked bbq and Mexican ever. Amazing. Everyone was raving about it. Definitely on every trip back to ATL.
BuHi taco spots are great, don’t get me wrong, but Little Rey might have them all beat imo. All starts and stops with the carnitas taco. I make them at home, eat them regularly at taco spots, and these are as good as they come. Crispy, fatty, salty, everything you want from a perfect carnitas taco. As far as other stuff, the chicken is great, the ground beef is actually fantastic if that’s your limit on taco meats, but definitely try the Diablo shrimp if you haven’t yet. Get some extra ranch if so. Lastly you gotta give a shoutout to the queso here. This is beyond your average Kraft mix with a hint of Kroger deli section. It’s damn good and worth a larger size, even though the few extra bucks initially seems like another squeeze of the lime. Ford Fry usually hits, but he knew he hit with this place and it always hits for me
Little Rey is the perfect mix of upscale and authentic without trying too hard. The pork belly tacos are finger licking, the queso is a must, and the flautas are always crispy and satisfying. The chorizo breakfast tacos are flavorful, and hit every time. Everything feels thoughtfully done while remaining familiar enough that you feel safe ordering pretty much anything on the menu.
Love this place! Food is great the vibes are greater. Sunday took a bit long to get food but chips and queso help pass the time
We ordered the half chicken to share between two of us and still went home with leftovers. The chicken was delicious and very moist, and perfectly complemented by their wide selection of salsas. The service was also amazing. The beans that came with the chicken contained pork, and I hadn’t realized they did. The server than proceeded to bring me a side of black beans and guacamole, for something that was fully my mistake! Really great service and food
